BUTT. WELCH. R.); Army Long Service and Good Conduct, George V (3948922 PTE. P. BUTT. WELSH R.), display mounted with the IGS first, all very fine or better.

Enlisted 1904 and served with the BEF in France from 13/08/1914. Re-attested in the field 14/02/1919. Discharged 23/11/1925 at Shrewsbury, with exemplary character. Also awarded the 1914 Star and the Victory Medal (not present).
