D. 82/ BDE: R.F.A.); 1914-15 Star (SE-9941 PTE. R. H. STURT. A.V.C.); British War Medal 1914-20 and Victory Medal (SE-9941 CPL. R. H. STURT. A.V.C.); display mounted, good very fine or better. [4]

M.M. London Gazette: 12/03/1918 for "Gallantry and Devotion to Duty on the night of 6th December 1917". The action in question was in the Forest of Houthulst sector, N.E. of Passchendaele village.

Ralph Henry Sturt was born in Cheshire 10/01/1897. He joined up in June 1915 and went to France with the A.V.C., before transferring to the R.F.A. Offered with research
