A spiked club, probably 18th Century German, long octagonal-section ash haft swelling to a barrel shaped head set with four long radial spikes of wrought iron, reinforced with an iron band and with a further spike set coaxially with the haft, small spike to the butt, overall length 181 cm (71.5 in.)
