A Waterloo Medal 1815 to Private John Morris, 4th Regiment of Foot, restored steel clip and split ring suspension (JOHN MORRIS, 1ST BATT. 4TH REG. FOOT.), suspension clip restored, medal about fine.

Joined the 4^th Foot in December 1813 and was present for the battle of Toulouse in April 1814. Participated in the American War of 1812, fighting in the Battles of Bladensburg and North Point, and present for the burning of Washington and the operations against New Orleans and Fort Bowyer; before returning to Europe and serving at Waterloo.
