An Empress of India Medal 1877, silver, unnamed as issued, medal extremely fine or nearly so, suspension bar bent down and back to either side; together with an associated Grant of Dignity of a Companion of the Most Exalted Order of the Star of India to William Young, Bengal Civil Service, Judicial Commissioner of Oudh, dated 1st January 1891, with M/S signature of Queen Victoria at the head and that of Richard Assheton Cross, 1st Viscount Cross, as Secretary of State for India at the foot.
