Three Austrian Infantry swords: i) a model 1861 officer's sword, fullered blade 32 in., marked for E.J. Bittner of Prague (retailer) indicating use within the Czech component of the forces, regulation steel hilt with narrow shell extending to form a knuckle bow and with scrolling back slotted for a sword know, shagreen grip, steel scabbard with upper loop and lower fixed ring; ii) a model 1861 officer's sword shortened for alpine warfare, blade 26.5 in. and marked 'SOLINGEN', regulation steel hilt, wire bound shagreen grip, scabbard shortened to conform to the blade and fitted with a frog hook; iii) a model 1907 short sword as adopted by mountain troops (Landwehr Gebirgstruppen), blade 118 in., marked for Büchler & Rausnitz of Budapest, blackened steel hilt of the same form as the forgoing weapons, short scabbard with single loop, with a Fahnrich's yellow silk sword knot.
