George IV: two tickets to the Coronation of 1821
George IV: two tickets to the Coronation of 1821, one for Westminster Abbey, printed in black and blue and numbered 1023, endorsed in ink 'Poet's Corner' and 'Ellenborough' and signed 'Howard Effingham' (Deputy Earl Marshal General K.A. Howard, 1st Earl of Effingham), apparently for Edward Law G.C.B. Earl of Ellenborough; the other for Westminster Hall, in black blue and pink, numbered 1483, endorsed 'Rutland', perhaps for John Henry Manners, 5th Duke of Rutland, K.G., a notable horse breeder; each in a glazed frame.
