State of Katanga (1960-63): a small collection of currency and other items, comprising: two twenty franc notes and two ten franc notes, about uncirculated; bronze five francs (5), bronze franc (5), some tarnish, otherwise extremely fine; together with a small state flag, and an enameled badge displaying the flag of the Republic of the Congo with the diagonal stripe replaced by the colours of the Belgian flag (identified as a 'Tshombe Police' badge by a note on the envelope in which it is preserved).
