British medals commemorating battles: Surrender of Pamplona 1813, AE, 41mm, head of Wellington right, rev. female figure of Pamplona surrenders to a mounted soldier (E 1037), good very fine; Peninsular War Victories (27), AE, 15mm, common obverse with winged Victory, 'BY THE MERCY OF GOD', reverses each with the name and date of a battle, every battle in the series of 26 and an additional 'Coimbra' from a different die, lacking brass container (see footnote for E 1076), very fine; Battle of Alma 1854, AE, 41mm, an officer bearing colours among advancing troops, 'ALMA' incuse below, rev. inscription describing the order of battle (E 1490), about extremely fine.
