A Belle Epoque diamond tiara. Known as the Rockingham Tiara. The scrolling upper section mounted overall with graduated diamonds (one missing). The head band formed with circular cut diamonds and converts to a bracelet and two extra sections.. With converting tool. Cased by Hennell. Provenance. By decent from Sir Cecil-King-Harman to the present owner. Rockingham, County Roscommon, was the seat of the King family, Earls of Kingston and latterly their kinsmen the Stafford-King-Harmans. Rockingham was designed by John Nash and destroyed by fire in 1957.
