A facsimile of the Investiture Ring for the Prince of Wales, designed by Sir William Goscombe John in 1911, set with an amethyst cabochon clutched by two intertwined dragons in silver gilt, size M, fitted case by Garrard
Presented to Sir William Goscombe John by Prince Edward, later King Edward VIII, in thanks for his work designing his investiture regalia. The original Investiture ring, chaplet, verge and sword, are all on permanent loan to the National Museum of Wales.
