λ A natural pearl, cultured pearl and diamond hairpin/brooch, late 19th century, composite, designed as intertwined foliate scrolls set with cushion-shaped diamonds, the four largest diamonds totalling approximately 2.40 carats, two natural pearls measuring approximately 7.1 x 6.4mm and 7.0 x 6.5mm, and one cultured pearl, mounted in silver and gold, to a tortoiseshell haircomb, width 7.1cm, detachable brooch fitting, top later matched to comb, case stamped Flach Mediansky Paltscho, case dated 12 November 1896

A verbal report from GCS states that the left and right pearls are natural, saltwater, and the central pearl is cultured
