A pair of topaz earrings, mid 19th century, each designed as an elongated foliate drop in stamped gold with filigree decoration, set with oval topazes in foiled settings, length 8.0cm each, later post fittings
Stones are foiled, so true colour hard to assess. Some losses to filigree, and some areas of holes and dents to stamped gold, but overall minor and earrings appear to be in overall good wearable condition. Some evidence of solder where later post fittings added. Tests as approximately 20ct gold, combined gross weight 15 grams
