Our first jewellery auction of the year on January 24th and 25th includes a vast selection antique and modern jewellery to suit all tastes.

Highlights within the auction include (lot 769) a spectacular 1920s diamond bracelet by Cartier, set with seven graduated Asscher-cut diamonds and exemplifying the superb workmanship produced by the firm’s London branch in the interwar period.

For collectors of signed pieces there is also an Art Deco nephrite and enamel box by Cartier (lot 767), of Chinese inspiration, and an exquisite Belle Epoque emerald and diamond lavalliere necklace by Cartier (lot 768), unsigned but with paperwork as well as the remarkable Rood sautoir (lot 764) set with emeralds and diamonds in its original fitted case, this separates to be worn as a shorted necklace and two bracelets.

Antique jewellery enthusiasts might find lot 702 a Regency ‘en tremblant’ hair comb particularly interesting as well as a rare survival (lot 631) the mid 19th century enamel and diamond earrings.

The sale includes various engagement rings, lots 761 and 762 both with certification and both to be sold without reserve.
