A late 19th century enamel and pearl pendant, the stylised leaf-form pendant decorated with plique-á-jour polychrome enamel in naturalistic design with diamonds and pearls to the border and suspending a natural pearl with diamond-set cap, in yellow gold, length 7.2cm, fitted case
Accompanied by GCS report number 5783-1237 dated 27th January 2023 stating that the pearl in natural saltwater
Despite the lack of a signature on the pendant, it is clearly from a fine maker. The design, manufacture and generous application of the translucent enamel all contribute to the highest quality, culminating with a valuable natural peal drop.
