An 8th century North Caucasian or Bulgarian bronze belt plaque, rectangular with oval buckle and hinged pin, decorated with coloured stones including malachite and garnets, contained within gold strips and centre gold lion head boss bow small attachment sections to reverse, 9.5cm wide (including buckle), 5cm high, the gold tests as 23ct.
