A pair of garnet-set yellow and white gold cufflinks, c.1900, each dome-shaped link centred with a circular-cut garnet and chased with foliate decoration, each link 1cm wide, Russian style case by Friedrich Koechli, St Petersburg

Provenance: Given as a gift to Prince Harold of Denmark (1876 - 1949) by his Aunt Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna of Russia on 18th October 1900. The box is marked 'Tante', meaning 'Aunt'. 'Tante Minny' was the Royal Family nickname for Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna.
