An 18th century emerald and diamond cluster, the foil-backed cushion-shaped emerald set in a gold cut-down collet, within a surround of cushion-shaped diamonds in silver and gold, possibly converted from a brooch, 1.7cm wide
Accompanied by report number 81311-90 from GCS stating that the cushion-shaped emerald is a natural emerald, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Origin: Colombia. Comment: The colour is modified by the setting.
