An early 20th century gold and enamel mounted flat sided rock crystal scent bottle, in the Islamic manner, the shoulders carved with elongated rings issuing from a stylised lion mask, the gold base with faded pink, blue and white enamel scroll border repeated to the top of the bottle and with a acanthus rim, the plain thumbpiece releases the spring-loaded cover, with rose-cut diamond set foliate and lattice decoration to the white enamel ground and surmounted with a cabochon amethyst, suspension ring to the reverse, 7.5cm high
