Over 550 lots of antique and modern jewellery including a large collection of 18th-19th century fine jewellery and vertu, a collection of cufflinks (some signed), a variety of coloured stone-set jewellery with certification and items by René Lalique, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Fabergé, Boucheron and Tiffany & Co.
The sale features an elaborate gold necklace by H. G. Murphy, a gold and diamond-set presentation box, formerly the property of ‘Napoleon’s Jailer’ Colonel Sir Thomas Reade as well as a pair of ruby and diamond earrings previously belonging to Edith Vane-Tempest-Stewart, Marchioness of Londonderry.
