A late Georgian gem-set ring, 1830s, designed as a pansy, its petals set with pear-shaped amethysts, garnets and chrysoberyls, its centre set with a cushion-shaped emerald, bordered with grainti decoration, a compartment to the reverse, between Rococo-style shoulders composed of shells, foliate scrolls and flowers, mounted in gold, size N
