A rare and exceptional emerald and diamond 'zarf' cup, 19th century, the deep cup with undulating rim, to a short spreading foot, channel-set à jour with calibré-cut emeralds and decorated with lines and festoons of pavé-set rose-cut diamonds, mounted in gold, height approximately 4.5cm, diameter approximately 5cm, foot detachable, fitted case and outer box stamped Collingwood
Accompanied by a facsimile of the original purchase invoice from Collingwood & Co., dated 18th October 1978, for £24,000
