Shaped as a wish-granting jewel, tama, with a ribbed surface, decorated with stylised flowerheads in dark red and gold lacquer on the burnt Sienna ground, the inside with two characters to one side and sprays of millet to the other, with gold lacquer flakes on the dark brown ground, 14.2cm dia.
