A JAPANESE PRINTED PAPER AND BAMBOO FAN
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Decorated with a continuous river landscape, with cranes in the foreground and birds of prey on the right-hand side tending to a nest, a multitude of flowers in bloom around them including peonies, iris, hibiscus, and prunus, with fishermen and a thatched hut in the background and Mount Fuji towering in the distance, displayed in a modern frame and glazed, 73.5cm approx.
