MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
The Kyo-yaki vessel shaped as a minogame, the mythical creature standing four-square on short feet, the shell with a honeycomb pattern and the seaweed trailing behind its back forming the handle, a sacred jewel at the back; the knop shaped as two very small minogame and the carapace painted with thick blue and green enamels, 18cm.
