The figure depicting a dragon-taming rakan, the ascetic lifting a sacred pearl of wisdom over his head whilst pinning down the beast with his left foot; the ewer modelled as a double gourd with a dragon forming the handle and spout, one side painted with a Chinese sage and tiger, the cover shaped as a chrysanthemum flower, 23cm and 19cm respectively.
