MEIJI PERIOD OR LATER, 19TH CENTURY OR LATER
Both raised on a short foot, the wells similarly decorated in underglaze blue and red, yellow, green, cyan and dark blue enamels, painted with sprays of flowering orchids and peonies attached with flowing ribbons, both with a kintsugi gold lacquer repair to the rim, each with flowerheads and scrolling tendrils underneath and a fuku mark to the base, both 22.5cm.
