MEIJI PERIOD OR EARLIER, 19TH CENTURY OR EARLIER
The incense burner raised on four short feet and with two angular handles, the lid reticulated, both sides painted with a landscape; the dish decorated with three small chidori (plovers) flying over waves and a boat, the water rendered with geometrical patterns and brocade designs, the base with a shou mark, 11.5cm and 12.3cm respectively.
