THREE JAPANESE PORCELAIN VESSELS
EDO PERIOD, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
One shaped as a cup stand with a tall flared rim decorated with peaches and peonies, a paper exhibition label underneath for 'The Lost Century' Exhibition, 1998, loan number 121; another a Kakiemon-style octagonal dish with ho-o birds and blue and red roundels to the rim; with scrolling foliage underneath and a fuku mark to the base, a paper exhibition label for OCS 2006, The World in Colours, no.96; the third a hexagonal dish decorated with two fish amongst seaweed painted in gilt, purple, green and red enamels, a paper label for R&G McPherson Antiques, London W8, no.21155, 15cm max.
