Both decorated in polychrome and gilt with many figures in a continuous river landscape, some standing at a balcony and others on small pleasure barges, the elegant shape of Mount Fuji towering above them, with rich brocade patterns to the shoulders and feet, the bases with marks for Kutani, Nishinoura tsukuru Murakami ga, both 29.5cm.
