Of bulbous shape, decorated with a band of rhomboid patterns in a variety of colours on a deep midnight-blue ground, the rims with silver mounts, the one to the foot impressed 'SILVER', the base with a two-character mark reading Hayashi Tani for Hayashi Tanigoro, 17cm.
