A PAIR OF JAPANESE NABESHIMA BLUE AND WHITE DISHES
EDO PERIOD, 18TH CENTURY
Both painted in underglaze blue with a delicate design of grasses and foliage to the front, each with three flower sprays and leafy tendrils to the reverse; with foliate rims and both raised on a foot painted with comb design, 15cm each. (2)
