The rectangular frame, the two trays, four-tier box and cover all decorated in takamakie and hiramakie with patterns of flower sprays and tendrils on paulownia mon, alternating with a gold shippo-tsunagi pattern against a roiro-nuri ground in a katamigawari design, together with a pair of quatrelobed lacquer vessels, the box 34.5cm x 36cm x 20cm.
