A JAPANESE FIVE-CASE GOLD LACQUER INRO BY KOMA KYUHAKU
MEIJI ERA, 19TH CENTURY
The tall body decorated to one side with Jurojiin observing a minogame, the God of Longevity wearing ornate robes embellished with phoenix mon, the reverse with three cranes, the slender birds with details rendered in silver and red lacquer, the base signed Koma Kyuhaku; together with a wood netsuke carved as Jurojin and a small boy, the inro 9.5cm.
