A JAPANESE STAG ANTLER NETSUKE OF A DOG
EDO PERIOD, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY
Depicted seated on its haunches, its head turned towards the back and with its front left paw lifted, a collar with a bell at its neck and with the eyes inlaid in horn; together with a wood netsuke of an emaciated wolf, one paw resting on the carapace of a turtle, signed Masatomo, 5.6cm and 4.7cm respectively.
