Of conventional form and with a rough ishime texture imitating the surface of stone, the sides decorated with somayaki-style depictions of galloping horses, their outlines inlaid with partially-gilded silver wire, the tall shaped handle decorated with flowering sprays, the lid with an openwork finial and signed Ryubundo zo underneath, 24cm.
