MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
Each modelled as a boy supporting a large vessel above his head with a shishi-topped lid, the figures with one foot forward and holding up the hems of their robes, their hair tied up in double buns and their garments decorated with scrolling tendrils, flowers and dragons, each raised on a rectangular base with shaped feet, both signed Mori Homei in a rectangular reserve, 42cm each.
