Decorated with an octopus, a sayori (Japanese halfbeak), and a twig of bamboo, realistically modelled in relief and rendered in silver, copper and gold on the oval bronze body; the rim engraved with a band of crashing waves; signed lower right corner with the incised characters for Yoshiaki and an inlaid shakudo seal, 35.2cm x 27cm.
