Both with a foliate rim and decorated in underglaze blue, gilt and polychrome enamels with a spray of chrysanthemum to the centre, framed by alternating panels enclosing ho-o birds, plants and scrolling tendrils; each with a band of karakusa scrolls to the reverse, 27.8cm and 28.5cm respectively.
