A PAIR OF JAPANESE BRONZE VASES
MEIJI 1868-1912
The tall baluster bodies with elongated necks and both raised on a short foot, each with a continuous design of many egrets by a stream, with six character marks to the side, 25.7cm. (2)
This design was possibly made after a print by Ohara Koson (1877-1945) who produced comparable depictions of birds.
