Comprising four Satsuma vessels, one a large baluster vase and cover decorated with scholars in a garden, unsigned; a pair of vases painted with the gate of the Shogun's mausoleum at Nikko, both signed Taniguchi and one with a paper label for Y.Tanigushi, Kobe Japan, no.6466; the fourth a lobed bowl with a mountainous landscape, signed Bizan; and a Kutani vase with panels of figures, birds and shishi, unsigned, 39.5cm max.
