Depicting a bird's-eye view of the coastal city of Kamakura, with names of shrines and temples inscribed in rectangular labels, the Daibutsu visible to the left, from a series on the main Buddhist pilgrimage routes in Japan, framed and glazed, 62cm x 42cm.
Provenance: a Spanish private collection, Madrid, purchased in Geneva in the 1990s.
