EDO/MEIJI PERIODS

Depicting various flowers in ink and colour on paper, including carnations, morning glories, a large peony and chrysanthemum, all signed by different artists and mounted on washi card with gold flakes, some inscribed in pencil with the artist's name (Soto-jo, Suiun, Gyokusetsu, Seiga, and Bunko-jo), 55.5cm x 29.5cm. (6)

Provenance: an English private collection acquired at Christie's South Kensington, London, in 1977.
