Of male nudes, the men depicted in a variety of positions, each with a traditional Japanese tattoo across his back; each signed by the artist and numbered, oban yoko-e, approx. 43cm x 30cm max. (5)

Paul Binnie is a Scottish artist whose work is based on traditional woodblock printmaking. Binnie trained in Japan with a master printer and developed a shin-hanga ('new print') style close to aesthetics found in early to mid-20th century Japanese prints.
