EDO PERIOD, 18TH CENTURY
Decorated with shaped panels containing ho-ho birds flying over paulownia, the leaves evoking the Imperial mon, on a dense background of leaves and flowerheads, the neck with brocade designs, the cover with similar decoration and topped with a fierce shishi on a rocky outcrop, 92cm overall. (2)
