EDO PERIOD, 17TH CENTURY

The bodies shaped as five-petal prunus blossoms, the wells decorated with sprays of flowering chrysanthemum painted in blue, yellow, green, orange and black enamels, both raised on a short foot, 12.9cm max. (2)

Provenance: an English private collection formed in the 1960s.
