The ovoid body decorated to both sides with monkeys and their young, one primate playing with a fruiting branch, the lid carved to both sides with shishi lion dogs, the knop shaped as two smaller primates kneeling over a fruit, the inside lacquered in red and with gilt around the rim, 10.5cm. (2)
