EDO PERIOD, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
Comprising: a pouring vessel and cover decorated with the triple hollyhock mon of the Tokugawa clan on a red lacquer ground; a storage vessel with lid raised on a flaring foot, with gold mon on a black ground; together with a gold lacquer tiered box and tray stacked under a footed cover forming an openwork frame for the side panels, decorated in hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and nashiji with landscapes, the tray signed, 23.5cm max.
