An early 19th century French cuirassier's steel breastplate, with a medial ridge, flared base and studs, indistinctly marked in script 'Manufree Rale I, No.660, Klingenthal 1828,' stamped '660' and '2T,' 39.6cm high with a later backplate, indistinctly marked 'Manufee Rle Chatellerault....' and stamped '1711 3T1 L.' (2)
