Our first auction of 2023 will include almost 800 lots of antique furniture, lighting, sculpture, carpets and collectables. Day 1 has  a strong Oak and Country section with a good selection of early carvings with two fine Corpus Christi carvings, lots 90 and 93, a rare Elizabethan stool, lot 17 and a good treen wassail bowl lot 103. We have over 40 lots from a Private Collection of 18^th / 19^th century furniture, collected over the last fifty years including a very fine George III mahogany breakfast table with a single piece top lot 285.  Other highlights of Day 1 include a rare 16^th Brussels mythological tapestry lot 171 and a Queen Anne ebonised longcase clock by the eminent maker John Knibb lot 340.
